The inaugural Lucas TVS Tech Show 2025 held from April 17th to 19th, marked a milestone in the company’s journey of innovation and technological leadership. As a trusted name of Manufacturing in the automotive industry, Lucas TVS showcased cutting-edge motor technology solutions that signal a transformative leap in mobility.

The spotlight was firmly on the Automotive Motor division unveiling advanced solutions forsuspension, steering, braking, cooling, and traction systems. A key innovation trend highlighted was the transition from brushed DC motors to BLDC and PMSM motors—delivering superior control over rotor dynamics, torque, and efficiency.

Notably, Lucas TVS has secured long-term contracts for its next-gen steering motors with global OEMs, extending through 2032. 

A standout at the show was the company’s BLDC motor range (10W–600W), engineered for various cooling applications across IC engine and EV platforms. Supporting its growth, a new 40,000 sq ft production facility at Maraimalai Nagar will go live in July 2025. In EV traction, Lucas TVS presented robust motor-controller systems for E2W, E3W, and small commercial vehicles—customized for Indian terrains.

From a high-capacity hub motor plant to innovations in alternators, starters, and smart wiper technologies, the showcase was both diverse and impressive. More than just an exhibition, the Tech Show was a celebration of engineering excellence—earning accolades from OEMs and industry leaders alike.
